Currently, Michele has a record store in Santa Monica called "SoulSonic." Michele and her crew; Oscure, Kevin Chills, and Todd Spero renovated SoulSonic with all new stock and clothing to cater to DJ's, music producers, electronic music lovers and the surrounding communities of the electronic music scene and Santa Monica. In March of 2004, Michele was elected "Diva of the Month" by the United Divas, an amazing organization that highlights multi-talented women who are achieving exceptional success in their artistic fields. She co-produced the Thursday weekly called "Tara", which featured DJ's and artists of ethnic inspired electronic music and rare groove, helping to pave the way for a new genre that has not yet settled in the Lost Angels. Michele was also resident DJ at the new Tuesday weekly called "Bombshell" at Starshoes in Hollywood; which featured hot women DJ's and talents of the greatest guest producers and DJ's in the Breakbeat and Drum-n-bass world. On top of all this, in 2004; Michele Bass was initiated as the first female DJ to the well-known Los Angeles Breakbeat Association. Together with LABA, Michele is spearheading the breaks scene in Los Angeles full frontal along with tours up and down the coasts. A future goal that Michele and LABA have is a documentary on the breakbeat culture around the world along with an LABA tour to follow the scene. As she continues focusing on djing, producing music and events, Michele continues to evolve SoulSonic into the highest quality music shop in Los Angeles specializing in electronic music and gear, as well as being the backbone of Mystik Alchemy; a full multimedia events production company that has been commissioned by both Cirque Du Soliel' and the L.A. Weekly, with references to new clients made on their behalf. Through all of these things, she finds outlets that showcase a platform of artists in multi-media, who, like herself, are consistently working to take their art to the highest level of quality achievable.
